This is your invitation to join the BISMARCK-MANDAN NEWCOMERS CLUB; a fun, stress-free environment which allows you to be as involved as you choose.  You do not need to be new to the area to be a member.

The NEWCOMERS CLUB is for meeting people and making new friends.  New to the area?  A new life situation (empty nester, divorced, widowed)?  A new job?  Or just need a night out?  Maybe the NEWCOMERS CLUB is for you.

 

The club’s goal is to nurture fellowship and friendship among residents in our area.  Membership is open to all in the Bismarck-Mandan area.

 

The NEWCOMERS CLUB meets from September through May on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. 

 

Programming includes topics of interest - home, health, and travel, as well as community service.  A Newsletter is published each month with meeting details and upcoming events.

 

The NEWCOMERS CLUB offers a variety of Special Interest Groups where the focus is on friendship in a fun and relaxing manner.

 

Cards are a favorite with daytime and evening Bridge groups (couples and singles), and there are also day and evening  Pinochle, Bunko, and Canasta groups.  

 

Many of the groups are “come if and when you can”, without advanced sign up, so you can participate as it fits your schedule!

 

Offering a taste of the area, join the Out-to-Lunch Bunch, Winers, Friday Night Winers, Crafty Beers, or Brewcomers each month at an area restaurant.

 

You may prefer snuggling up with a good book and joining the Book Club. There are also board games!

 We donate to various local non-profit organizations throughout the year. 

  

Our current membership fee in 2024-25 is $20 per year.  Additional costs for the Special Interest Groups are minimal and specific to the group, covering supply costs, tickets, food, etc and are on a pay-as-you-go basis.
